Hey guys! So holiday season is rolling around quick, and I was looking to purchase a high-end gaming PC that is also futureproof for the next couple years!

So I came up with two builds, and I was wondering which one would be superior in terms of performance, and which one would be more futureproof / upgradable.

The games i'm looking to play are BF4, Witcher 3, Arkham Origins, AC4, etc.

Price is on the right. PLEASE POST ANY SUGGESTIONS / CHANGES!
Budget is ~2k

Solution
The motherboard as such is as good as the platform with the CPU whether the board is 100+ or 300+ dollars it is going to be the CPU and GPU that drive the performance.

I live in Australia, was going by a store price haha.

But cheers for that. On the topic of motherboards, I'm looking for value over time / longevity (Hate upgrading every year or so). Would the UD3H still be great for gaming in 3-5 years?

Ah, makes sense.. I am used to the Euros with their different symbols lol. Yeah, that board and any other mid range board from a top tier company will last you a long while. Only reason to upgrade will be if you want/need to change your CPU.
