Okay so recently, my computer completely froze, nothing was responding and the sound was looping. I had to force a restart so I did then just continued with what I was doing, but then it kept doing it, until I got a black screen instead. I just left it for a while and it was okay for a day until I used it again, then I got a blue screen saying the computer has been shut down to prevent damage and every time I tried to play a game after about 5 mins it would either freeze or black screen and the sound would loop. Now it is crashing completely at random. I went AFK for 5mins came back (nothing was open, no games only a few programmes like steam, skype) and it was just a black screen and now today I was just on the internet and I got a black screen with blue vertical lines.

As far as I am a where it is not overheating because I checked the temps and its around 40c idle and 70c when gaming

I have an Acer Aspire M5910
Intel core I5 650
6GB DDR3
nVidia GTX 560 Ti

P.S I didn't know where to put this under

Edit: I have had this computer for about 2 or 3 years, but the graphics card Is just over 1 year old and I recently completely reinstalled Windows 7 after I accidental did something that cause me to lose. I have had not problems until now around one month after doing this

check your gpu temps, is your pc overcocked, check cpu temps, but those sound like once again gpu artifacts, if you have igpu remove the gtx 560 and try running on igpu so that you can eliminate that problem, if it runs without it just fine then your gpu is dead if the same things happen then its somewhere else

list power supply specs......... don't just say 500watts.......... or provide link to it.

the looping thing.............. disable windows auto updates and auto driver updates ( 2 different things ).......... uninstall the graphics driver from control panel/add-remove programs. reboot.

reinstall the graphics driver but do a custom or advanced install. ONLY install the graphics driver and physx driver. reboot. play. what happens?

and by the way............. completely disable skype until problem can be resolved.
