Pre installed windows 8 activation

Hello everybody,

Here's my situation : I bought a computer with a pre-installed version of Windows 8, some times after that, I did a factory settings reset with the DvD they gave me, the computer works perfectly fine but there is a message once every "?" hours that ask me if I want to activate my product, I just ignore it.

But when I check the system information there is a key installed already on the BIOs that is seen as blocked. I can do everything I want except changing background of the metro menu or its color but it's not a big deal.

So my question is : Will I have problems if I don't activate it ? or can I let it like that.

You didnt mentioned that u bought your preinstalled windows 8 pc from a computer vendor, dealer or bought it from a friend or from other source? Does your PC has windows 8 logo anywhere on it? If no then I am afraid that the Pc u bought is with PIRATED WINDOWS 8. That will not be activated.

If still u think that u have genuine windows 8 then call on Microsoft's Tollfree no. of ur country and activate it via Phone. Or simply ask the one from who u bought ur PC whether the pre installed windows he gave u with PC is geniune or not and Report back.

After few days it will start giving annoying messages for activation of your windows. It will take you to the PC settings wizard to activate your windows in between your work. If its genuine instead take help from Microsoft for activation on your country's tollfree no. They will give you permanent solution for your problem.
