I am slowly piecing together my first build below (prices after rebates):
[strike]CPU: $180 - 17 4770k
GPU: $266 - PNY 2gb 770 GTX
Mobo: $80 - Asus Z87-A[/strike]
Ram: $50-60 - 2x4GB G.Skill ares,sniper, or ripjaw
[strike]HDD: 120GB HyperX 3K + WD Red[/strike]
PSU: ??
Case: ??
CPU Cooler: ??
DIsplay: 24" 1080p IPS
I used the extreme calculator and wattage conservatively was recommended 450W. I don't really plan to overclock, as I don't think I'll need to with what I do, and I also don't know how... Can anyone recommend a PSU in the $40-$75 range?
Another question is will I need a CPU cooler? I did some research here and the Hyper 212 evo and Noctua NH-d14 are recommended a lot... the hyper 212 evo I think I saw for $35.
