2133mhz as 1300mhz

My board is P7P55 LX and processor i5 760 2.8ghz
I bought 2x4 gb of the G skill ram, one is 'BAD' and one is 'good' (labeled) I tried using xmp to 2000mhz and wouldn't boot properly some "file missing". So I reset the bios to defaults and booted fine, I put in the bad ram as well and booted fine but not recognizing in bios. Then I tried the thing next to XMP (D.x.x.x something) which was just for ram and that had the 2133mhz option which I selected. First boot stopped halfway round the windows ring but second booted up fine. Windows recognizes 8gb but only 4 usable. I'm uncertain what to make of the CPU z results, please could someone explain? Thankyou
