So I just found an old-ish computer which I suppose has a bit of potential (Full Specs below) and hoping to max it out (GPU Wise) just so I can play some old/semi-modern games on it like Dead Space and Skyrim. What Graphics card would give me the most performence without being drastically bottlenecked by the CPU or just burning out my PSU? As far as I can tell there is no 6-Pin power cable from the PSU.. So that's another limiting factor :p  Thanks alot, Jake.

Specs:
AMD Phenom X4 9500 @ 2.2
Acer 5690GVM Mobo
4GB DDR2 Ram
ASUS 9400GT
Stock PSU

PSU Is: http://www.ascendtech.us/liteon-ps-5251-7-250-watt-powe...

PS. I don't want to spend a fortune, most likely will be looking for Used or Clearance cards :)

Can't tell unless you list the make and model of the PSU. Or at least its total wattage and its amperage on the 12V rail.

You will not be able to add a more powerful graphics card without upgrading the PSU as well. I have recommended a new PSU and graphics card

Can you give us a budget?
Try to avoid used cards, you can get good ones but also bad.
Don't expect to get a rebate.
Aim for the most up-to-date card you can find, as you go back through each generation they burn more and more power for the same, or even less performance.
Do NOT install any new hardware without changing the power supply, it has 250Watts MAXIMUM output that's not the same as 250Watts continuous output and it's an old design so when it fails it's likely to damage other parts as well.
Good call by Jay2577 on the HD7750, but I'd use this PSU instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
