Pretty much what it says in the title, they are both priced roughly the same and i was wondering which is the best for gaming in general. If you're interested my other specs are ..

asus p77 vpro
3tb barracuda 7200rpm
i7 3770k
corsair obsidian 650D
16gb corsair LP ram
corsair 750 w cxm modular PSU
standard 24x dvd writer
nocuta d14 cpu cooler ( ITS HUGE?! will my MB be able to hold the weight )
120gb samsung evo SSD

It probably comes down to preferring AMD or Nvidia.
I think the R9 cards benchmark well, but they are overclocked and seem to need more cooling and attendant noise.

For my part, I prefer the direct exhaust titan type stock coolers on the GTX770 type cards.
They get the heat out of your case more directly and do not heat up the cpu by recirculating hot air.

Gigabyte, ASUS, and EVGA would be my preferred brands. I have the Gigabyte windforce 2gb and it is lovely. Unless you plan to overclock yourself try to get a factory overclocked model.

The model variation will depend a lot on your monitor , up to 1920x1080 the 2gb version from Evga would be fine. If your going with a 1440p or 1600 monitor then the 4gb model from Evga would be good and it would also support multi monitors at that resolution.
