Which Graphics Card for £300-£400

Hi

Im looking to get a new GPU for my PC. I have a budget of £300 to £400.

Which one?
-R9 290 (wait for non-reference models)
-R9 290x (wait for non-reference models, although slightly hesitant because it is £100 more than the 290)
-GTX 780 ( Still a little pricey)
-GTX 770


I am open to other suggestions, i hope to be getting a 1440p monitor soon so thats the reason for me updating.

+1 to wait for R9 290 non-reference models. 1440p will game good with a 280x or 770 but you'll probably have to turn down details for decent frame-rates. Properly cooled 290's aren't going to have this issue. Wait a little longer.
