Hello gents,

I recently purchased a motherboard for my computer, I'm currently using it to write this message. I paid about £130 for the board and my question is "What did I just buy?". After looking at other boards I'm curious what exactly is the difference between a cheap board and my own. For example:
What's the difference between
My board GA-Z87X-UD3H (£130) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4481#ov
And this board GA-Z87X-D3H (£95) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4518#ov

Very worried I have made a ridiculously expensive build for no reason.
My current build as as follows

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H (£135)
CPU: Intel i5-4670K @ 3.40 (£174)
Memory: 8GB Corsair 1600GHz (£65)
Storage: 128GB Sandisk SSD & 1TB HDD. (£62)
PSU: Corsair Builder 750W Modular (£68)
Case: Corsair 300R (£60).

thanks in advance!

I currently have a GT 330, but I plan on getting an R9 280X with plans to crossfire later, so my PSU will be upgraded then.

Good to know, Helping a friend chose (Probably a bad idea) And saw a lot of cheaper motherboards than the one I got!

The model you bought is a Full Size well Featured model the other is a budget version. Not as highly rated or featured. If you've already but your system with the new motherboard just live with it. If its still in the box and you feel the lesser board will do all you need return it and buy the lesser board. Not sure if you'll have a restock fee or shipping fees to deal with.
