Hello everyone,
I have an ASUS N56VZ with integrated graphics from Intel (Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000) and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M. I would like to use the GeForce graphic card instead of the Intel(R) card.
This Laptop uses Optimus technology that is basically choosing the right graphic card for the right meaning. But guess what? The Optimus technology is not working properly because I'm trying to play some games requiring good GPU performance but the laptop is choosing the integrated graphics...

I already did a lot of things to try making the powerful NVIDIA GeForce 650M works:

- Uninstalled both Graphic Cards and Installing them with the latest drivers;
- Going to NVIDIA Control Panel and setting in "Manage 3D Settings" the "Preferred graphics processor" to "High-performance NVIDIA processor and also going to the "Program Settings" tab and add the game to select the preferred graphics processor to NVIDIA;
- Added "Display GPU Activity Icon in Notification Area" under NVIDIA Control Panel in "Desktop" top-tab, so I can see if the GPU is active;

Non of this things have worked out.

The stupid thing is if I connect an HDMI cable to my laptop the GPU automatically changes to the GeForce Graphics Card?!

The only thing I see is that the PhysX from the GeForce 650M is only available on HDMI output in the NVIDIA Control Panel (as the picture shows).

Does anybody knows what to do?
I'm despairing completely...

Thank You
