Is 2133 mhz ram compatible in my motherboard

I have a evga x58 3x sli motherboard and my ram is currently 6gb 1333mhz and i was thinking of upgrading to four 4g sticks at 2133mhz but wasn't sure if my motherboard was compatible the manual says it has a 240 pin slot. Does anyone know if my motherboardo can handle it ?
