Hello!

I built a new rig and now that I am tying it out, I canÄt install windows from my usb stick because I canÄt even get the option.

When I turn on the PC, I see the GIGABYTE (got a H87-D3H) logo for literally 0.1 seconds before I get a white flashing underscore that stays forever, mashing f8 does nothing.

When I don't have the usb stick plugged in it reads "restart and select the proper boot device"

Any ideas? All the cables are plugged in as far as I can see.

A flashing white cursor indicates its trying to find a boot partition and cant. Check your documentation that came with the board. My board F6 opens a 1 time boot menu. lets me choose cd hdd or usb, while delete gets me to the bios.

Good point, it sounds like the drive isn't bootable anyway (since there is a change with it connected versus not).
