Is gaming without a graphics card bad for your CPU?

So basically I built my pc a few months back and hadn't gotten around to getting a graphics card yet. I have been playing a few games on it and they all seem to run quite nicely. While I am planning on picking up a dedicated GPU in the near future, I was wondering if there is any component that I could potentially harm? My current specs are

asus z77 sabertooth mobo
intel i7 3770k cpu
8 gigs corsair vengeance ram
cooler master silent pro m 1000 watt power supply

I have also replaced the stock cpu fan with the hyper 212 evo.

thanks in advance. I'm sure you folks can help me out.

It's not bad for the CPU at all. That's why they come with integrated graphics. You will not get close to the performance of a discreet GPU but if games look good enough to you and you get playable frame rates than you are all good.

The 1000w power supply was a bit overkill with no GPU ;)  or really even overkill with 2 high end GPUs!

That motherboard and CPU are my DREAM build :o . They don't sell the sabertooth where i come from anymore so Im stuck with a gigabyte one. I suggest you make the most of those components and buy a graphics card around $300 dollars. Or you could even just get a 100 dollar one if your not into graphic demanding games. :D

thanks a bunch. lol I know the power supply was overkill but I couldn't pass up the deal they were having at the time.

Yes sir. I plan on throwing an EVGA gtx 760 in it. they have the non overclocked ones(which I personally prefer) for 250 right now. Thanks for the feedback.
