iam very depressed about which processor i want to buy for really hardcore gaming experience........is it i5 3570k or i7 2600k

Both are very good. The only difference is that the i7 has Hyper-Threading. Other than that, they are approximately equal in gaming prowess.

Most people get the cheaper I5 for gaming since not really any difference in almost all games.

The i7 also has a larger L3 cache, but still as said the i5 is a better choice.

You are also comparing a Sandybridge to a Ivybridge.
