Hi, my motherboard is a Z77 and I'm using an i5-3570k.
It happens that the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot that my GPU is using, has its speed shared with the only remaining PCIe 3.0 x8 that is not blocked for me to use.
And I want to install a PCIe 1.0 x1 Wifi adapter card into that x8 slot.
If I do that, what PCIe speed will my GPU be limited to? I am asking because I am afraid my GPU might have to also run at revision 1.0 speed with the slower adapter card installed.
Please advise.
