4770k questions on reusing and heat

I was just wanting to know if I could reuse the 4770k and if so, is there any special way I have to do it or just pop it in and it's good? Also when over clocking to around 4.5 Hz how much heat to expect and what fan I should get. Thank you for your time!

I plan to move the cpu to another motherboard if I don't like this one/doesn't have enough room for upgrades.

OK...let's backup about 3 steps: What do you have now, and what do you want to do with that CPU?

Given a compatible motherboard and everything else - clean whatever paste residue is on it, install on [whatever], and step out smartly.

OK...let's backup about 3 steps: What do you have now, and what do you want to do with that CPU?

Given a compatible motherboard and everything else - clean whatever paste residue is on it, install on [whatever], and step out smartly.

If you want to get good overclocks then get the noctua nh-d14. It is an amazing cooler, just make sure you have enough room in your case and clearance for ram. I prefer air cooling over AIO water cooling setups because air tends to be more reliable but water has better temps most of the time.

I linked what I have now in question, and I want to overclock to around 4.5 ghz.
