Hi, I am in a bit of a budget right now, I was looking to upgrade my dell computer so i could play league of legends, my budget is 500 dollars but i need a laptop for school as well, i can't find a good laptop in that price range that will run league of legends (higher graphics) so i wanted to consider adding a 7750 to my dell? how would the performance of this be with games, i haven't over clocked the processor and don't plan to but

the specs

4gb ddr2 ram
7750 1gb
e6550 2.33 ghz

I was wondering the same I'm looking at playing game titles 3-5 years old. I would be working with the Del optiplex 755. After doing some research I found a review site that was using a 3960x with some game titles I'm interested in and found with a 7750 it played at 60+ frame rates. I did a comparison on single CPU compute and found it to be 1.96x faster in r10 cinebench for the 3960x. These resolutions for the games I want to play are at 1440x900 and 1680x1050 medium settings. I don't know if cine bench is a good tool to use but hopefully this a good indicator. I'm looking at waiting for the r9 255 hopefully it doesn't require an additional power connector and the...

I'm looking at waiting for the r9 255 hopefully it doesn't require an additional power connector and the CPU doesn't bottleneck this card.

I imagine though since most games rely on the video card more then CPU our systems should be able to pull an average of 40fps on medium with resolution of 1440x900 1680x1050. Don't quote me as this is just an educated guess.
