Hello everyone,
I have recently been suffering from severe ping spikes that go upwards to 1000 and stay that way for some time, it seems to happen randomly and is very frustrating; although the effects are noticeably worse and more common at night. Changing the channels and restarting the router and modem for the wireless connection stops the lag, but only for a short while then it spikes up again.
Also my FPS used to be around 60-70 but around the same time as the ping problems it has gone down to 30-40 at all times. While I may not have the beefiest of machines my computer is fairly new and all my drivers are up-to-date. I have also scanned for malware and have not found anything.
