Good Morning everyone!

I have this motherboard (Gigabyte 990fxa-d3) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3900#sp
I was thinking of putting in a new graphic card called '4GB Gigabyte GTX760 OC Rev.2'. The interface for the new graphic card is 'PCIe 3.0 (x16)' will it work?

Please let me know, if it doesn't work. Please can anyone list which type of pci interface my motherboard uses? I think its pci-e 2.0 but I'm not certain.

Super thanks in advance!

It will work perfectly fine as the PCIe standard is backward compatible with previous generations, provided the card physically fits in the slot.

There currently isn't a 3.0 PCIe solution for the AM3+ platform although it hardly matters, as nobody is saturating a full 16 lane PCIe 2.0 slot in anything less than a top end card.
