OK I've been trying and trying so hard for my PC to show a signal but it Nevers, I've tried dvi and HDMI, plus all the led indicators on my motherboard for the CPU and the GPU lights are on, I also inserted my ram properly as said in the book, and then i change my GPU slot to the bottom and nothing, everything is connected and my monitor was quite expensive, but please I need your help so bad , I've never seen anything on my PC but a blue screen saying no signal, and all my fans are running too, the oy bad thing I think is this very sharp noise that come from my GPU for a couple of seconds until it slowly decreases into back what it used to sound like, so help? Here are my specs

GPU:Asus HD 7870 direct cuii
Motherboard:MSI 970a g46
Ram:corsair xms3 8gb
Hard drive: Seagate 2tb

One of the first things to take note of when powering the system up, is if you are presented with a single beep sound.

This indicates that the system, or all the parts are correctly fitted.
Anything other than a single short beep indicates a problem with a component,or part plugged into the motherboard.

In the event of no single beep, then you should check that the cpu you bought and fitted to the cpu socket of the motherboard is in the cpu support list of the board vendor MSI and the model number 970a g46.

You need to check that the cpu is supported by the board.
The problem is this you may have the cpu and the board but the board may lack a high enough bios firmware version to support the fx8320 cpu.

It is normaly the case...

The problem is this you may have the cpu and the board but the board may lack a high enough bios firmware version to support the fx8320 cpu.

It is normaly the case that if you are met with a black screen, and no single or any other beep messages that the cpu is not supported or the motherboard needs a bios update so it can work with the Cpu.

Here is the cpu support list on the link bellow, the cpu is supported.
But your board has to have the correct bios firmware version installed on the board for it to work with the cpu.

You should check your version of the bios on the board.
It is printed on the board or can be found on a sticker on the bios chip.
You then need to see what version of the bios firmware supports the
FX 8320 the board may require a bios firmware update to a higher version to support and work the cpu fitted.

Description - Support AMD Vishera CPU.
Bios firmware version 1.10
