Grey Screen right after log in screen!!!

I know it might seem small but all of a sudden the last day, when my computer boots, right after the log in screen it goes to a plain grey screen for about 3 seconds before loading into windows 7. I do not think it is causing any issues,but to be honest I have a nice computer I take good care off so I would really appreciate any help in getting rid of it and understanding were the hell it came from!!!

It just sounds like Windows is taking a little longer to load than before.
Do you have any software you have installed recently that might be starting when you login?
Try defragmenting the hard drive (unless you have an SSD).
