Hey guys, looking at a new rig for myself to replace my current one. It's a budget rig, so I've decided to use AMD parts. Heres the rig:
CPU: AMD FX6300
MOBO: ASrock 990FX Extreme3
RAM: Patriot Viper 3 8Gb
GPU: Gigabyte R9 270
HDD: 1T Seagate Barracuda
PSU: Antec HCG 520 Modular
Case: Cooler Master Scout 2
Aiming to build something around $900 (in Australia, maybe around $750 in US) that will play most games on max settings and still give playable framerates. Ideally I want to go multiple GPU. Is this a good build? Well, maybe a better question would be are these parts the best for the money? Would you suggest any drastic changes?
