I recently bought graphics card Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5. Although in my earlier post here I got reply that there is no much problem using HD7750 on local cabinet SMPS, this time I really want to be sure about it for my cabinet SMPS 450W (which came with my foxin cabinet).
I have taken a photo of my SMPS specifications. Please have a look at it and let me know if I really need a new PSU for my AMD/ATI HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5 card.

how much are you willing to spend on a PSU? because im sure that will be able to run a 7750. But it isnt decent quality at ALL. 450w and only 16 amps on the 12v? I have a 500W with 42 amps on the 12v

Hi - ohyes247 hit the nail on the head. Only 16 - +12v amps (total watts unimportant), the CPU & GPU draw their current from the +12v rail. You are right at the limit (16A) with that card, but that assumes your PSU can actually deliver what it says it will.
I'd upgrade. A good quality 400- 500 will have a min of 30 or more +12v amps.

Thank you so much for your reply. Can please explain further how I am on the limit. I mean how much current CPU and GPU are drawing actually. I just found a thread on this forum where a Guy is already using HD7750 with 14A on 12V. But I dont want to put my system on the risk.

depends on which HD 7750 you get really. Find one that doesn't need a power connector and the amps on the +12v rail won't matter.Hey this is the card I got. Let me know what do u think.

Does your 450W Foxin resemble this 450W Xsonic, especially inside? If so it may be capable of 250-300W, which should be adequate for the HD7750.

Hi again - It is recommended a system with an hd7750 have at least 16 +12v amps avail. That's what your PSU
has in total if it can deliver 100% of what it says it can:

Scroll down to hd7750 in above link. There is a little bit of headroom, but my concern is can
your PSU even deliver what it says?
