so got my old desktop back working and it is slow (9500 phenom ati 5550)
so again im thiking back to upgrading and while i see the FX6300 as being viewed as a great value cpu. however my laptop with an i5 2410m its so much faster than the old phenom im looking at intel again. the G3320 seems to be a sweet spot, cheap yet its clock means it should still be faster than what im normally using anyway. (plus going for it would mean i could in theory upgrade the cpu later)
the 3 cpu killing things i do are WOW, firefox and Paradox games, (EU3,4, HOI3, 2, Crusader Kings 2, etc etc.
so the biggest 2 wow and firefox are single threaded so thats making me thing the G3320 would be the better option but im not sure. i so wish there was somewhere you could play with machines to see how they perform in use. since there isnt has anyone used both or got a thought on the subject.
