cannot download recovery discs on my acer aspire m1610 is it possible to buy them

YOu can get any OEM copy of the disks and use them - they don't have to be ACER -- Does the SYstem still have the COA certificate on the case ? IF it does just download the VISTA OEM install files from this site and run through the tutorial there on how to create a bootable iso image and use that to reinstall VISTA
Then go to ACERs website and download the various drivers needed for your system ( http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers ) Under the Enter from list section put in Desktop - Aspire - M1610 and download all of the drivers for the LAN etc. that come up
Install Files for VISTA can be found HERE ( http://downloadsnfix.blogspot.com/2012/08/microsoft-windows-vista-official-iso.html ) NOTE : The links on that page connect to DIGITAL RIVER CONTENT which is Microsofts approved digital download center so are official copies of the files with no changes and thus will require a valid product key in order to use and are virus\malware free !
