so i recently built a new pc
i5
gtx 770
msi z87-g43 gaming motherboard
balistix 1333 mhz 4gb ram (soon to be 16gb)
my old 5oogb hdd

i am trying to put a fresh install of windows on due to new components but the computer will randomly freeze during install, usually between selecting language and the very beginning of the install.

cpu is running at 42 degrees and i have ruled out the grpahics card and the installation cd, i am also using an 850watt psu so i doubt thats causing the issues, i think the motherboard may be faulty but not compltetley sure.

any help?

Maybe the problem is from your old 500gb hdd, using the utility software like CrystalDiskInfo , or Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows ( for WD hdd), or SeaTools for Windows ( for Seagate hdd) to check the HDD error.

Bro! You can test it on other PC, you don't have to test it on that PC, right?
