Hello Every 1 ! I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit OS ! I had 1 2 GB DDR3 Ram (1.50 GB usable ) . then i bought another 2 GB DDR3 Ram ! So my PC is detecting 3 GB instead of 4GB . And Out of 3Gb only (1.50 GB usable) same as only 2 GB Ram ! And my Both RAMS Work perfect individually ! So whats the problem ???

For better Understanding : My PC config when i had only 2GB DDR3 RAM
RAM : 2 GB (1.50 GB Usable )

My PC Config after i bought another 2GB DDR3 RAM
RAM : 3 GB (1.50 GB usable )

So it Actually ( Normally ) should be - RAM : 4 GB (3 . sumthing GB Usable )
And i have processor : AMD A4-3300 with AMD Radeon HD Graphics ( 2.50 GHz )
And a Gigabyte Motherboard : A55M - D-S2 ( My both Ram slots are working properly ! )

So plzz any1 tell me the Solution of this problem ! :)

More about : ram 3gb usable detected win 64bit

This must be a physical limitation on your motherboard , Post your motherboard model and i will confirm

Could you please specify the model and the RAM details? I mean RAM manufacturer, frequencies etc.

Also, provide information about your CPU. It may be a CPU incompatibility issue as well.

So you got an APU? That's good. Now,please tell us what's the CPU model, and provide the RAM details.

Well,it appears there's no incompatibility here. So it must be something else. Well,my guess is that,it's any one of these:
Bent CPU Pin,Improper RAM install,Incompatible RAM (non-certified/non-tested).
Well, the last option having a slight probability, since I don't see your RAM's name (EVM) on the Motherboard Memory support list.

And,you could try a fresh OS install if everything fails.

No Sir ! There's none of the above issues . Both RAMS work Perfect individually ! ( I mean when only 1 Ram is plugged on the mother board )

Well,first of all,please don't call me sir. I'm just a boy of 17. Address me like,mate,dude,buddy...etc etc... :D
Well, you can't format the system retaining all the drivers and stuff. You got the Motherboard dvd right,it has all the above said things, and the Physx drivers come with the GPU drivers. If you don't have a disc, you can get it from the manufacturer's website.
