I'm so confused,
I'm going to buy an SSD drive for the first time and I compared this two drives
- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211720
- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227915
and I couldn't understand why the ADATA is more expensive while the OCZ is better in numbers
for the max-read/write speeds and for the random speeds too, according to

plus the ADATA doesn't support (TRIM) but instead the ADATA got what they called
(ECC Recovery-Up to 55 bits correctable per 512-byte sector (BCH) *varies depending on exact configuration)
- http://ocz.com/consumer/vector-7mm-sata-3-ssd
I need to know
- If the ECC Recovery tech is an alternative to TRIM support tech
- Due to some dealer issues in my country the ADATA is priced cheaper than the OCZ by around 30$
so the ADATA have price advantage to me.

Solution
OCZ was not able to compete in the ssd market. The company had massive debts it could not repay. As a result, OCZ filed for bankruptcy. Toshiba has agreed to acquire OCZ. Temporarily OCZ's future is uncertain. All of the OCZ consumer ssd's have been discontinued except for a few newer Vector and Vertex models equipped with OCZ's Indilinx controller.

The Adata XPG SX910 is a modern 3rd generation SATA 3 6Gb/s solid state drive that was introduced last year. It is equipped with an LSI SandForce SF-2281 controller. Therefore, it does recognize TRIM messages from Microsoft Windows.

The TRIM feature is triggered when a user deletes data. Microsoft Windows sends a message to the ssd that data on the ssd has been deleted. It also provides the location of the deleted data. It helps an ssd work more efficiently when clearing blocks of deleted data. ECC (Error Correction Code) is a special data encoding protocol that uses a combination of redundant information and special data positioning to make it possible to detect and recover from missing data. Clearing blocks of data and correcting errors are two different processes.

I maintain the ssd database listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section. Here is the link:
