Hello, I have read a few things about temp. soft ware and installed realtemp. My question is there is a difference between reatemp and asrock's onboard temps by about +/- 5 to 7c. Which should I believe to be more accurate? realtemp certainly looks more in depth, and just looking for an experienced answer. Thank you for your time

Solution
I would go with the onboard temps, as they have a hard wired sensor that detects the temperature. That said, try downloading HWMonitor or SpeedFan and see which temps those agree with.

Hello pinnacle, I'm not sure about my night owl thing here as i'm in the U.S. but what the heck. Very good solution, although realtemp was about as exact, HW has so many other monitor temps's. Perhaps one last question. I am running a i7-3770k on a asrock extreme 6 at 4.4 without any v-core adjustments just built in setting from asrock. I have a stable 62-65c running prime 95 for a while (half hour to 45 minutes) question, is that 4.4 a true overclock?

Actually, I guess, what i'm asking is by simply pushing the button in bios from 3.5 to 4.4 really overclocking that thing? I can see on stats were it is jumping to 4.4 under load and just wondering if that is possible with no voltage increase. I'm ok with it, do not really want to increase voltage on a ivy chip anyway. Just curious why it says MHZ and not GHZ. But, I could be confused.

If you have one of the rapid overclock buttons, then it will overclock and adjust voltages for you.
