I have been looking at threads and ent MS questions but can't really get clear answers. So I ask When I reinstall windows 8 pro OEM on my new Motherboard and ssd. do I have to phone in to de activate Win?? I Some say yes some say not until your 5th time. I need to know because my phone is not up right now and when I reinstall i need to be close to a phone.....

Ok I hope that is the case I know before with retail versions if you had windows 7 activated you would have to call in and re activate it. My MB is having all kinds of issues right now and ports and slots have already died. I just got my new MB it is a z77 chipset like my other one but my p8z77 v lx cost me 110 bucks so I imagine it was that price for a reason. And I like to reinstall every 6-8 months anyway. Fresh start.
