Hey guys

I'm building a PC for gaming, mainly Battlefield 4 and Skyrim right now but would like my rig to last a good 2-3 years before I need to replace any parts to keep up with new releases.

I was just wondering if anyone could give any advice on my finished build before I start ordering parts.

Build can be found below

Thanks in advance! :)

Sorry I also didn't mention I'm trying to save money wherever possible, so only want to spend the extra if it's absolutely necessary.

Do you think it's worth the extra cash or will the R9 do the job for cheaper?

Also not fussed about having everything running on super high settings, as long as it's decent looking and runs smoothly.

Cheers

In my opinion if it beats the AMD at an AMD optimized game it will beat the AMD even better on NVIDIA optimized games. I would assume my build would last 4-5 years without need for upgrades.

Hmm, you make a good point!

How long do you think my build would last?

Are there any other ways I could save a bit of money using your build, possibly keep the 3.2GHz processor and lose the aftermarket fan?

That would bring it down to £670.92 which I would be happy with. Think that would be okay?

Surely the stock fan and 3.2GHz CPU would suffice as I don't plan on overclocking or anything?

Also I just realised that GPU is 2GB rather than 3GB. What difference does this make, will it still be appropriate to play these games as well as being future proof?

You don't need the cooler and the stock cooler is more than adequate for stock speeds. Stock speeds are more than good enough.

This is a great no-oc build for BF4 gaming.
