Good solid (asus) board

Hi guys,
In like a week i'm going to order my parts, but i'm stuck with the board.
Do you guys have a good suggestion for a good (asus) motherboard for a 4770k, 780 ti, 16 gb build? In like the $250 price point

You have good taste, there are a few options.

The pro board is $200 and dam good(likely all u need).
For $250 there is the pretty Sabertooth(thermal armor)
And for $300 you could get a Maximus (VI Formula)

I see no reason to spend more than $200 and get the Maximus VI Hero http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-maximusvihero it has all the OC features of it more expensive ROG siblings.

I don't get what the difference is between like the sabertooth and the vi hero, and for some reason I only look at the tuf or rog series, because the mainstream series look so bad

The Sabertooth has the thermal armor which to many is just bling since it really does nothing according to most reviews I have seen.
