I'm looking to buy a GPU soon and I was looking at the 290. However with the recent $100 mark up i would rather just get a 770. I don't know anything about supply and demand so I would like to know if the 290 will reach ~$400 again in a couple months or so after these miners are done getting supplies.

yes it will go back down as soon as the crypto currency fad goes down they will lower the price.
