cpu 50C while browsing..

hello..today i built my first gaming pc..amd athlon x4 750k and radeon hd 7770...i installed the stock heat sink..i took it off becuase i couldnt install the hdd..i installed the heat sink again...but a strange think appears..the temp of the cpu while browsing is like 50C...i think that i havent installed the heat sink correctly..what do you think should i do?

Check to see if you have removed the plastic protector that covers the TIM on the heatsink, it might sound silly, but i've known experienced builders to sometimes overlook that. If not, check to see if it's mounted correctly and make sure the backplate is secured properly and in the correct orientation (If you have one). You should also check to make sure you have good airflow, example : Having all your fans as intake or exhaust won't exactly help with airflow, instead you want a steady flow, usually from bottom front to rear top. Finally, check for dust, it's unlikely that that's your issue since it's a new build, but it's always nice to give it a clean.

the heatsink probably left some thermal paste when you took it off and some thermal paste left on it. it doesn't do well if u put it back on without cleaning both objects first and reaplying the thermal paste.
