Since a few days I have problems with the temps of my 3570k cooled by the corsaid H80I

My 3570k runs @ 4,4Ghz 1.23v
I’ve changed my stock thermal compound that came with my h80I with artic silver 5.
My temps are now way to high around 95 degrees celcius
Before I changed my thermal compound my temps were getting to max 88 degrees with intel burn test.
the reason I changed my thermal compound is that my temps were getting higher than before, at first my temps were at low 80’s

any tips?

@gokul36
when i first installed the h80I my temps were 81/82 degrees celcius with intel burn test.

@Laviniu Campean
I'm pretty sure I've mounted the cooler correctly and only used a small drop of thermal pasta

@bouncedk
didn't know that but I don't think is wil drop more than 15 degrees celcius afer that 200 hours

Reset your OC settings and RUN "Intel Burn Test"

Not enough thermal paste. How small of a dab did u put on it? Sounds like not enough.

after some research on the internet.. i had to put some washer between my backplate and motherboard now my temps are now max 61 degrees @4,4GHZ
the reason for this is the asrock z77 extreme 4 uses a thinner pcb that the other manufacturers.
i,m realy happy with the result
my plastic washers are 2mm thick
