I recently decided to upgrade my comp. so i got the GTX 780, installed it in my PCI 2.0 slot, connected the power fine, but when i look at device manager and try to install drivers, its not detected, and when i try to hook it up to my monitor it has no signal, but the fans are running so there is power running through. why might this be?

my specs are

Motherboard: AMD 760G Chipset
CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: GTX 780
PSU: Corsair AX 760

would could be wrong? is it DOA? thanks for the help.

Did this work for you? My GTX 780 is not being detected in my Device Manager either. My old HD 7850 is recognized. But not the GTX 780 in the PCIe slot above it. I have also tried a 600w Coolermaster PSU. It has two 12v rails that max at 18A. I dont believe that PSU has enough voltage my 780. Anyway, I got the same result as my 1000w Lightning. The 780s fans would spin and the lights would flash but nothing would display.
Specs:
Fx 8320
GTX 780 HOF
Rosewill 1000w Lightning
Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 Mobo
Should I buy a new PSU or RMA my GTX 780?
