Hello all !
I have the following rig : AMD FX-6300+Zalman CNPS5X Performa, Asrock 970 PRO3(rev.1), Gainward 9600 GT GoldenSample, Corsair Vengeance 2x4Gb@1.7V(stability issues), Intel 330 Series 180Gb SSD, Samsung 103SJ 1Tb Sata2 HDD, Seagate 1 Tb Sata3 HDD, Creative Audigy SE PCI, CM Storm Scout, Recom PE-M500, 2x120mm Sharkoon Silent Eagle 2000 + 1x120mm Blue Led Raidmax + 1x120mm Red Led CM, Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
The problems appeared since I've first set it up. In bios everything was default so no settings were modified.
I have random freezes; sometimes those occured while left alone for 5-10 minutes and when I came back the computer it was frozen. Other times it freezes while watching a video on Youtube or something similar, web-surfing.
When I manage to start a game, let's say GTA IV, these freezes occur at random times (5-30 minutes).
The only way that I've managed to get rid of these freezes was like this :
In bios, every setting regarding CPU(Turbo Boost etc) - OFF.
Memory settings - XMP 1.2 @ 1.7 V. Everything lower than 1.7 V causes freezes , sooner or later.
What could it be ? Now I will download the latest beta BIOS available for this motherboard, 1.91.
At this moment I'm running with 1.90(updated from 1.60 where the problems still existed).
Any help will be appreciated !

Well, Recom is a producer from Holland. The PSU is pretty heavy (~2kgs), it's modular and above all I also think it's fine but to rule it out I shall borrow the other PSU I was talking about.
The other explanation I would take in consideration is the motherboard which cannot supply all the power to CPU, graphics and others.
I cannot think of another solution to test it unless I deactivate 2 out of 6 cores and see how it handles with less power drain altough the CPU only drains 95W and that at full load. I haven't OC'ed this PC.

Borrow PSU from ur friend and try it.....

it will work.....problem is with PSU....not with your board

So, now I have that PSU I was talking about, OCZ Fatal1ty 550W. I reseted the bios to defaults and the problem persists, the computer freezes randomly. I increased RAM voltage to 1.7V(from 1.5 standard) and for now it works (it also worked in the past only with RAM voltage tweaked but for a short amount of time).
L.E.: After increasing only RAM voltage I've experienced a new symptom: sudden restart (not BSOD !) !

I have similar symptoms
looks like Audigy SE (SB0570) is causing troubles with XMP memory.
At least when I switched to integrated audio in MB (Z77-DS3H) - problem was gone

For now I'm playing with PC memory settings

Interesting but as far as I can remember I've also tried to boot without any peripheral and the result was the same. Again, I do not remember very well but I'm 99% convinced that I have tried this. Also, sometimes I would have used it for days without any freeze... Anyway, long story shprt, my motherboard is sent to the service center since today. As soon as I have news(probably they are going to replace mine with R2.0 as they have done with other of a friend that "passed away") I will let you all know. Thanks for the help !
