unable to create a homegroup

I am unable to create a homegroup from my desktop. I can create one from the laptop that is on my net work but can not get my printer, which is wireless to print when LT is on the web and needs to print something. It can print from Word.

A couple of things could be amiss here.

Try this: turn off your laptop and pc.

Turn on your pc and try to create a homegroup. This should work, and then you can turn your laptop on and connect from there.

However, you may also need to change your printer properties to allow web printing.

Make sure that IPv6 is enabled on your desktop, as homegroups use Internet Protocol Version 6 to function.

It would be best to have a single homegroup for all of your computers on the LAN, so once you enable it, I would create one group.

The best place to fix your issues is at the Microsoft page that has automatic fixit tools HERE and look under the see also for all the links to the fixit tools.

I checked and I am connected by IPv4 with the IPv6 saying 'No internet access.'. I get onto the internet with both machines. I saw no way to enable that..... could you tell me how to do that? Please.
