hey guys im going
to upgrade my memory RAM to 8GB DDR3 1600. (1333 mhz stock frequency can overclock to 1600)
For now im using 2GB DDR2 800 mhz and my motherboard has a DDR3 slot and suppots 1600mhz.
but my CPU cant only 1333mhz. so my frequency will be 1333 mhz when i upgrade.
SO MY QUESTION IS : if i upgrade, will games
will run faster cause im gonna upgrade my DDR2 (800) to DDR3 (1333) ?
and how many FPS will IMPROVE TO THE GAME .
(i know, memory will improve that much: CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG with that )
HOW MANY FPS, and how will it improve PERFORMANCE to my PC ?? HELP !! THANKS !!!

DDR2 and DDR3 slots are physically different. You can't just change from DDR2 to DDR3.

there was no big difference between ddr2 800 and ddr3 1333 when these dual systems first came out. waste of time and money. you won't gain anything worth spending money on.

well im playing battlefield so it can have big difference. i have 2gb and battlefield 3 required 3.7 Gb of ram to go to medium setings. and modern games. know what you are talking about.its not a waste of money. you sound like a console gamer.

You make me laugh.
Two people have expressed an interest in trying to help you, and you want to cop an attitude and act condescending. Yes you said 'my motherboard has a DDR3 slot', but that doesn't mean it actually does. People say things all the time and are wrong. And since you seem to think that someone can tell you 'HOW MANY FPS' increase you will get, and 'how it will improve PERFORMANCE to my PC' without even listing the specs of your machine, what games you're playing, or what your previously frame rates were, I personally find myself questioning what you say. In any case, I'm done here. Enjoy your day.

i dont assume things that im not sure of, like i said i have DDR3 slots, actually two of them (4 including ddr2)
its on the motherboard manual and circuit board and physically different. if im not sure i dont act like i know and i ask people if im wrong. And about the FPS im not asking a specific FPS if you read the details (READ IT). i ask how many FPS will improve. like will people will say and ESTIMATE "in my experience when i upgrade my RAM, you will improve like 8-12 FPS "...
im acting like that cause you always dont analyze and read carefully what you are reading !

you won't get 2fps increase going from 800 to 1333........ it's a waste of money.
