I have a linux HDD I need to clone or clone as image to DVD but my windows pc wont recognize it as a slave to even get started..... how can I go about doing this ???

Thanks

Hi
Is this a ata or sata interface hard disk ?
Does PC bios see hard disk .?
If not no point in continuing.
Windows is not going to see a Linux / Unix format hard disk or partition
Without special drivers (some free some pay for)

Booting from a Linux live CD or USB will let you see &clone the hard disk

Parted Magic now costs $5.00 and is worth it. There are plenty of alternatives
