Hi all,
I'm pretty much beating my head against the wall at this point but here's the problem. I recently purchased 2 XFX R9 280X's Black Editions and whenever I enable crossfire I get a variety of different colored screen flashing green/pink/yellow/gray. It has worked in the past, however after one of my games crashed during crossfire it hasn't reverted back to normal. This has happened twice now where it works fine and then I'm stuck with this issue for a while, I can't seem to find a consistent or proven solution it just seems to work when it feels like it. Here are my steps I have taken to resolve the problem with no success.
System Specs
- i7 2600k CPU @ 3.40GHz (Normally at 4.4Ghz but am currently not overclocking to ensure stability with crossfire)
-ASROCK P67 Extreme6 Motherboard Bios version L2.19
-12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator
-240GB Kingston SSD
-1.5TB USB 3.0 External WD HDD
-1000w Silverstone PSU
-Windows 8.1 64bit
- 2x XFX R9 280X Black Editions
1. Have used both 13.10 and 13.11 beta 9.5 drivers, have done clean installs and no success.
2. Tested each card individually and have had no problems
3. Enabled Vertical Sync with no success
4. Have loaded the proper game profiles in CCC
5. When crossfire is disabled games run with no problems
6. Have done a clean install of Windows 8.1 64bit and installed all windows updates
Below is a link to a video that best represents the problem I'm experiencing.

This is also a problem I have experienced however it is more rare.
