I am looking to get a new MOBO and am wondering what the 2133(OC) means (I understand the OC mean Overclocked) can I only reach 2133 if I overclock the RAM or can I put 2133 in natively and it will just work. Specifically I am wanting this MOBO in and am wanting to put this RAM in will they natively go together?

Anything over 1600MHz is considered overclocked for z77 chipset. It doesn't necessarily mean you'll have to "overclock" it yourself. If it recognizes the XMP, it will just work. You may have to configure the settings yourself, but that shouldn't be an issue. Just put in exactly what the RAM is rated for.

I really wouldn't buy anything over 1.5V modules for Intel chips, though. That's all the chipset is rated for and SB, IB, and Haswell CPUs aren't memory bottlenecked anyway. You're going to notice very little difference over 1600 or 1866 cas 9 sets in anything that's not a RAM benchmark.

That answers my question about the (OC) now do you know if the RAM will fit in the MOBO or is it not compatible with it?
