Thank you in advance!

Like the tittle sates i have a 50Mbps connection and damn good internet router (Netgear Nighthawk).....Yet, youtube takes a while to load, anything over "360p" it will pause and buffer for a few seconds. Web pages also take a while to load. This problem just started when i upgraded from a 25mbps to a 50mbps connection....I constantly check my internet speed and everything seems ok. Does any one have any suggestions on what can help or what may be causing this issue?

Thank you

I would check your computer then. Sometimes browser add-ons or malware/viruses can cause issues with pages loading.

This is my general removal guide:
This does not come with a warranty, you are responsible for any software issues caused by running any of these scans.) That being said, I work at an MSP and use these tools daily.

1) Download and run rkill: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill//dl/10/
2) Download and run JRT (Junk Removal Tool): http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/
3) Download and run MalwareBytes (note, do not install pro): http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/malwarebytes-a...
4) Download and run combofix (note, you will lose internet connection)...

It sounds like a youtube issue to me. Youtube's servers are very over-burdened these days. I have 30/5 and there are times when I can't get videos to load but I can stream off of Twitch TV fine.

Try speedtest.net to test your up/down speeds.

every time this happens i always go to check the speed and its always at its average 50/20.
At 1st i thought it was youtube to but the webpages taking a while to load is what eliminated that option

Thank you for the fast response!

7): Install your preferred AV software: I use AVG or Microsoft Security Essentials for personal computers and Kaspersky for work PC's. Also, remember “There is only one Lord of the Ring, only one who can bend it to his will. And he does not share power. –Gandalf.” He was also talking about anti-virus software too. DO NOT INSTALL MULTIPLE COPIES OF ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE!!!

Good luck.

2nd!

I've used Open DNS for years. If you make an account you can set up filtering too. It is also possible to add those as primary DNS on some wireless routers too.
Primary: 208.67.222.222
Alternate: 208.67.220.220

Google DNS servers are also good too.
Primary: 8.8.8.8
Alternate: 8.8.4.4

Many ISPs route YouTube over "special" links that are slow. This does two things, reduces peak bandwidth usage and makes users less likely to use YouTube. Win Win from their view.

But then again "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.". Still your ISP, doubt it's YouTube. I get my full line speed from them all the time.
