Hi guys! I was playing an online game with my Brand new desktop. it performs extremely well. However, when i turn the in-game graphic setting to Max, there are some black waves (or flickering) begin to appear. It's hard to see, but it's visible if i pay attention. The FPS is still very high and stable(60).
Im not sure why did those black waves shown up. all of my drivers were up-to-date, the in-game setting was optimized by GeforceExperience (and it's the Max setting), so im sure my graphic card can handle it pretty well. As i lower the in-game graphic setting, the waves became lesser and lesser visible, and it's eventually gone when i set it to mid setting.
When i screenshot and video captured the game, those black waves wasn't shown up on the screenshot and videos. However, the visual quality of the screenshots and videos are much much lower compare to what i saw in-game.
Can anyone help me out? Thank you so much! I appreciate it!

If it's a common game like Battlefield 4, that's not known for the "black waves" then it's a hardware connection problem.

Make sure your graphics card is seated all the way. Same with the VGA/HDMI or whatever connection you're using is seated all the way too. Same for the other end (plugged into the monitor)

Thank you for your reply! I just tightened everything up, but those waves are still appear as i set in-game graphic setting to max. Is it possible that the Monitor wasn't good enough to handle the max setting?
Blade and soul was the game that release on 2011, but it shouldn't be a killer, i might be wrong.

If it still appears, your graphics card may be fault, or part of the connections to it may be partly faulty.

If not blade and soul might not be a well optimized game.

What sort of monitor do you have? an old monitor may be the case
