Hello everyone
My build:
- Rosewill 1600 Hercules PSU
- Haswell G3220 intel LGA1150 CPU
- Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600
- MSI Z87-G55 LGA 1150 motherboard.
When I push my start button (which is connected) the LED on my PSU goes from "standbuy" yellow to "not functionning" red besides that NOTHING AT ALL happens. The PSU doesn't turn on the motherboard appears to not be on either. The only things currently connected are those above the rest of my config will wait.
My troubleshooting:
- I tested the PSU on another system it works fine
- I tested the motherboard on another PSU it works fine
- I send my motherboard to be replaced same problem with the new one
- I looked at the Haswell PSU compatibility list mine is said to be compatible.
I have tried removing completelly the RAM resetting the CMOS puttin only one stick of ram verifying the connections making sure everything was plugged in. I am at a dead end. Please anybody with any ideas of what this could be caused by help me out!
