I am experiencing the automatic repair loop
I attempted to boot using the windows 8 disc and my computer will randomly get to the windows 8 setup screen
After i reach this screen, however, I can only click next before the computer "experiences a problem and needs to restart"

Computer is completely unusable, thanks for any help

From that description, it sounds like a RAM problem. Download a copy of Memtest86+ and run it on that machine. Let it go for at least a couple of hours to be sure.

How do I test it if I can't start it?

Download it on another computer, make a bootable CD or flash drive, and boot the machine with it.

Hi josh,

Were you able to fix your laptop?

I am experiencing the same issue, i was able to select the (system) restore option after it has finished "attempting repairs". Now im waiting for it to finish troubleshooting itself, this is without the install cd
