Hi all PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
I have an msi p67a Gd53 motherboard. Well the I was just in Windows home screen and my computer just shut down. It then by itself started turning on for about 2 seconds and turning off straight after looping itself until I cut the power. I the pressed the power button and it would stay on for about 10 seconds and start this loop over and over again. So what I then did was clear the cmos through the back switch on the board I think that accidently cleared it twice. So press the power button again and it does the 2 second loop again but this time after a while it makes all fans spin at full speed including my graphics card with nothing showing on the display. It has gone into the bios once or twice in this state but freezes and starts the 2 second loop again. I have tried everything including switching psu's, using one stick of ram, taking the board out of the case re applying thermal compound and changing heatsinks. This was all working pefectly like a dream before and has lasted me not even 3 months. I just need to know what the problem is and what needs replacing or can it hopefully be repaired. Would I need a new bios chip. I see them go for about 10 pounds.

This rig includes:
Msi motherboard as shown above
Intel core i3 2120
2x2gb pny ram ddr3
Some monster venom heatsink
And a radeon msi 7870 hawk
A winpower 750 watt psu
graphics card. This was tested on another rig and works fine
PLEASE HELP¡!!!!!!!

If it worked before then a bios_update will not fix the problem I guess. That could only be necessary if a CPU is placed that isn't recognized (Ivy Bridge) but you had a working system that just shuts down by itself meaning something else is wrong.
