My freinds computer gets better frame rates in games then my computer even though my gpu is better. my PC specs: geforce Gtx 650, AMD fx 6300, 4 GB ram, 1 TB HDD,...............Friends PC specs: gt 640, Core i7 3770k, 8gb ram, 1 TB HDD. we both are playing the same game on same graphics on 1080p resolution, i have latest drivers too plz help

Solution
well 6300 is a decent processor how ever its not a 3770k which also has hyper threading. you could overclock your processor but i would not recommend doing it if you do not have proper cooling. but the biggest problem i see is that you only have 4 GB of ram you would benefit quite a bit if you picked up another 4 GB of ram for your system.

I dont know much amd so i cant comment on cpu but others you are better. Except ram. If you are playing high ram consuming games you need better ram. For example strategy games or games like minecraft consume lots of ram. Also you may have worse cooling. Cooling dramatically reduces performance sometimes.

It may be cooling because the stock fans are **** sometimes iam going to get coolermaster fans this christmas. It also may be RAM too because i run at 48% memory usage when just on the internet. BTW AMD fx 6300 is hexa core. Games played for reference : BF3,Minecraft, TF2,Terraria, and quite a few more.

Do you think the normal kinds of RAM is okay like not like rip jaws or Crucial or is normal okay?
