SLI enabled automatically?

Recognices SLI when it is necessary to enable automatically and so does? Or should I do it manually when I need to enable?Does SLI enables automatically only if it is so driven by a program writen so specifically for SLI graphic card?Otherwise would only run one GPU of the two installed?

No it does not work that way it is either on or off. You have to turn it on in the Nvidia Control Panel in order for it to work. And when you first install the drivers the default is off.

Would that means that SLI on will work with every program I run and will work all the time? I had heard that, if the program ( or game) was not enough demanding , the SLI card would work only with one card of the two installed reducing so its speed by the half.My idea here in mind is to work in SLI state all the time and with all kind of program.
