hard drive disk problem or?(help!)

after booting my computer there's a notification said that my amd catalyst control center has some problem and cannot work properly this also happen to my razer synapse 2.0 so im kinda worried for a sec and then i repair the catalyst still nothing, then decide to pre install it and it worked and now both work fine. what concern me is my hdd gonna fail soon? cause its only a 500 gb 7200 rpm from seagate and i am planning to upgrade to an ssd and a new hdd but its just sad if this one's gonna fail :( is it a normal problem or?

Using windows explorer, right click on the drive, choose properties, tools tab, error checking, check now.
You will need to re-boot to run it (it will tell you) and a thorough check can take many hours to run.
